Professor Gustavo "Ninja" Enriquez

Gustavo Enriquez is is a seasoned martial artist who has delved in various martial arts including Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, Escrima, Karate, and even Judo. As a striker, he dominated the arena and was feared by many.

But one day, one of his teammates attended a bjj seminar and came back to handily control and subdue Gustavo into submission. Being beat did not bruise his ego; it caused him intense desire to learn more about bjj. He soon left the striking arts and hungered for more training in bjj. At the time there were not many schools around the area and he had to make the long trek to Stockton or Yuba city to train in his new art. He finally found a local home in Sacramento with Cassio Werneck, a multiple time world champion himself, and it is there where Gustavo was truly able to grow and expand his fighting skills.

After a decade of training in bjj, he received his black belt in 2006 (currently 3rd degree). He continues to train, coach, compete and also referees at tournaments. He holds 8 masters world championships and many Pan American championships. He continues to live a healthy lifestyle, loves to learn new skills, and believes that jiujitsu is endless.... there are infinite possibilities.
